Industrial Electrician
We are currently looking for an Industrial Electrician for a food manufacturing facility located in Toronto.
Applicant must be able willing to work any shift, including night shift.
Applicant should have completed an apprenticeship program & certified as 309A and /or 442A Electrician in Ontario.
Prefer candidate also have a College CET.
Job Functions:
- Perform preventative Maintenance according to specifications, instructions of Maintenance Management.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on production equipment, the building and all of its components.
- Design and build electrical panels for machinery.
- Design and build electrical circuits to improve the performance of equipment and machinery.
Requirements:
- Industrial Electrician license.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a Food Plant Manufacturing environment.
- Trouble shooting skills for Electrical & Mechanical problems
- Understanding of electrical circuitry
- Knowledge of PLC’s, maintenance shop machinery, and electronics
- Knowledge of building wiring and CSA codes as it applies to an Industrial establishment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to lift and move heavy machinery.
- Ability to work at heights, heat, cold, and within guidelines of Occupational Health & Safety.
Monday to Friday.
PAY: $38.90 per hour with $1.20 shift premium for night shift
