Position Title: Van Driver

Location: West Niagara and Surrounding Areas

Position: Part-time, Permanent

Nature of Position:

This position involves driving an agency van, transporting people to and from various locations around West Niagara.  The successful candidate will be required to work 15-20 hours bi-weekly with some additional hours required for vacation coverage.

Compensation:  $20.00 per hour

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of Grade 12
  • A valid G driver's license and insurable by the agency’s insurance company
  • A Driver’s Abstract
  • Current Level C – C.P.R and Standard First Aid
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention
  • Police Clearance with vulnerable sector screening 
  • Applicants who have experience working with people who have developmental disabilities will be given first consideration
  • Good problem solving, decision making and time management skills  
  • You must be reliable, flexible and able to work independently as well as in a team
