WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

Responsibilities

  • Planning, supervision and coordination of receipt, storage, and shipment of product lines
  • Verification of incoming and outgoing materials
  • Work closely with applicable departments (sales, purchasing, etc.) to ensure the product is delivered in a timely manner
  • Responsible for productivity and quality measurements and improvements in the warehouse
  • Inventory control and order selection
  • Serving customers when necessary
  • Coordinate and assist in the development and maintenance of efficient and effective operating administrative processes and safety standards
  • Assist in warehouse safety, cleanliness, and waste disposal
  • Drive a forklift in this type of setting is a plus or we will help you get certified

 

Requirements

  • Experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, shipping and receiving department, or similar environment
  • Able to lift up to 100 lbs. repeatedly
  • Forklift experience
  • Good computer skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Must have basic math skills for inventory counts; and strong writing skills to be able to read purchase orders and communicate with team members
