Digital & Product Data Administrator

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Digital& Product Data Administrator to join our Product Data Team. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying information for products to be posted on our website, working with product models, creating new product models, enriching product data and maintaining data accuracy and integrity. This position involves handling large datasets, sourcing operational and marketing product data, gathering digital assets, and managing product images. Experience with ERP, proficiency in PIM systems, and strong Excel skills are considered assets. Prior experience with product data management, supplier coordination, and expertise in product categorization are highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

  1. Product Data maintenance (PIM and ERP)
  • Verify and maintain product information accurately and efficiently, following established guidelines and specifications within various spreadsheets and PIM.
  • Create and update product models promptly in PIM, ensuring accuracy and adherence to relevant standards.
  • Perform regular updates and modifications to product data, including attributes, descriptions, and categorization.
  • Utilize ERP effectively to manage product data and perform necessary tasks.
  • Make changes to discontinued products and monitor product replacements.
  • Collaborate with various departments within and outside the company to address missing product data, resolve data discrepancies, and ensure accurate representation of products.
  • Export and import data in PIM.
  • Ensure accurate classification of products into appropriate categories, adhering to established guidelines.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements.

 

  1. Digital asset management
  • Source marketing data for selected products to be posted on the website.
  • Gather and manage digital assets (images, documents) for the products.

 

  1. Working with Large Sets of Data
  • Handle and process large volumes of data efficiently and accurately.
  • Ensure data integrity, cleanliness and quality by conducting regular validations.

 

  1. Support ongoing product data related projects and initiatives.

 

Requirements

  • College Diploma in a field related to computer science, finance, marketing, administration or any data related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or data administration capacity.
  • Proficiency in working with large datasets, data entry, and ensuring data quality.
  • Understanding of ERP, with a focus on product data management functions.
  • Hands-on experience with PIM systems (e.g., Akeneo) is an asset.
  • Strong Excel skills, including formula creation, data manipulation, and analysis.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities, especially when working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to provide feedback.
  • Understanding of product categorization and classification is an asset.
