Die Cutter/Machine Operator for Print Company

We are looking for someone that is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of die-cutting machinery to produce various printed products with precision and efficiency. Key responsibilities include operating and programming automatic and semi-automatic die-cutting presses, installing and preparing dies, and ensuring the equipment functions correctly to meet production and quality specifications.

Core Responsibilities:

Machine Setup & Operation:

Setting up and operating specialized die-cutting equipment, including programming computer-controlled presses and installing dies according to job specifications.
Production & Quality Control:

Running jobs to precise specifications, verifying output, and ensuring the quality of finished products. This may involve using measuring tools and performing pre-production runs.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

Performing routine maintenance on machinery, cleaning equipment and the workspace, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during operation.
Material Handling & Finishing:

Handling materials manually, loading and unloading machines, and preparing finished products for shipment.
Safety Compliance:

Adhering to safety procedures and maintaining a safe working environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience with die-cutting machinery preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail and excellent close vision.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
Physical stamina for demanding tasks like standing, bending, and repetitive motions.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
